Dear Cathy,
Sorry to disappoint you. The delay is two fold. Firstly, as you can see from other parts of the web site, our new life style in Skye takes up a lot of time (chickens, ducks, sheep, 12 acres etc.). Secondly, the projected book on 'Healing with the Chakras' has had to be shelved for the time being as the publisher does not want to go down that road. I am, though, writing the manuscript of the book I have wanted to do forever, on 'Light Touch Reflexology'. Most of it will describe my own thoughts, ideas and inventions. - John

When are you going to start doing workshops again? I see that you are now pretty remote in the Isle of Skye (lucky you!) I'd like to do the weekend on light touch reflexology as my friend did it a couple of years ago and found it totally changed her way of practising.

Hello Sonia,
I am presently working on my 2005 workshop diary and it should be published on this site by January. There is little difficulty in leaving Skye to travel to do a workshop, as long as I have adequate notice and someone else does the organising! Please not in the depths of winter though as it is sometimes tricky to traverse Scotland then. I am also looking around for a suitable venue here on Skye so that delegates can combine a workshop or two with a holiday on this beautiful island. I should know by the end of November where it is to be. Keep in touch. - John

Thanks for the compliments. Setting up the web site was time consuming (and expensive), but so far it has paid dividends. It is great to hear from people all over the world, not only to purchase my products but also to ask for advice on clinical matters.To answer you query on the spinal chart, I can send you one if you like - the details of shipping etc are on the posters page of this site. I do not, though, take credit cards over the phone or on site - it will have to be a sterling cheque or international bankers order. The alternative is to enquire from the Anatomical Chart Co. in Skokie near Chicago. They have recently purchased several of both charts from me and are now selling them to people in the US. Thanks for the letter - the 'Reflected Pathways' booklet project is on hold for a short while until I have finished the second book on the Chakra Energy System for NAB. I have, though, found an excellent illustrator locally and when they have finished doing the Chakra books I will engage them on the Reflected Pathways one. I cannot give you a date at the moment. I INTEND TO CALL IT 'CLINICAL ACUPRESSURE - THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE FOR THERAPISTS'. I AM PRESENTLY SEEKING A PUBLISHER. THE BOOK WILL, THOUGH, SELL FOR HALF WHAT THE PRESENT ONES ARE SELLING FOR.I AM PRESENTLY WRITING THE 'LIGHT TOUCH REFLEXTHERAPY' BOOK AND HOPE TO PUBLISH IN THE MIDDLE OF 2008.

I HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY ORGANIZING AND GIVING SEVERAL LOCAL LECTURES. I AM ALSO DUE TO SPEAK TO THE HIGHLAND BRANCH OF THE CSP IN JANUARY AND HAVE BEEN BOOKED TO SPEAK AT THE ACPEM CONFERENCE LATE MARCH 2008. THERE ARE TWO OTHER WORKSHOPS THAT ARE PENDING. THE NECK AND HEAD ARE FEELING SLIGHTLY BETTER AND I FEEL MORE CONFIDENT TO START TEACHING AGAIN. THE 'ACUPUNCTURE AND THE CHAKRA' BOOK IS DUE FOR PUBLICATION ON 28 JULY 2008. THE 'REFLECTED ENERGY PATHWAYS' PRACTICAL WORKBOOK IS BEING PREPARED AT THE MOMENT AND SHOULD BE AVAILABLE BY MARCH 2008. I SHALL POST IT ON THE WEB SITE WITH FURTHER INFORMATION.

THE NEW PRACTICAL WORKBOOK IS OUT AND WAITING FOR ALL YOU THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO PURCHASE A COPY OR TWO. SO FAR THERE HAS BEEN A VERY FAVOURABLE RESPONSE TO THIS UNIQUE PRODUCTION.
